Every supplier profile is set to a Standard. The Standard is automatically set when the supplier is first requested, but it can subsequently be changed at any point during the supplier lifecycle.
Please note that a supplier may only be assessed against one Standard at a time.

Standards are defined by rules. This means the system will automatically select the Standard that is most appropriate for the supplier. You do not need to select the Standard yourself.
The Standard is defined at the Request stage.
How to determine which Standard has been selected
There are three ways to determine which Standard has been selected for the supplier, as follows:
- On the Supplier List, the Standard column will indicate which Standard has been selected
- On the Supplier Profile, the Standard will be indicated at the top of the profile
- On the Request Form or Internal Data tab, the Standard will be indicated by the relevant question in the Onboarding Settings section
How to change the Standard on the Request Form
An Admin user may manually select and change the Standard. By default, Admins are the only user role with permission to do this.
As an Admin, you may change the Standard during the request process by navigating to the relevant section on the Request Form. Do this for suppliers who have not yet been invited, or have not yet submitted their profile for the first time.
To change the Standard on the Request Form:
- New supplier request: initiate a new supplier request by clicking Request New Supplier
- Existing supplier request: select the supplier
- On the Request Form, navigate to the Onboarding Settings section
- Here, you will find the relevant question presenting the various Standards available to the supplier, with the current Standard already selected
- Select the new Standard you wish to change the supplier to
- Upon selecting the Standard, the Request Form will reconfigure itself to match the required fields of that Standard. This may take a few minutes
- The new Standard has now been set
How to change the Standard on the Supplier Profile
An Admin user may manually select and change the Standard. By default, Admins are the only user role with permission to do this.
As an Admin, you may change the Standard at any time on the Supplier Profile, by navigating to the relevant section on the Internal Data tab.
To change the Standard on the Supplier's Profile:
- Select the supplier
- On the Supplier Profile, select the Supplier Data dashboard
- Select Internal Data from the tabs on the left hand side of the Supplier Data page
- Navigate to the Onboarding Settings section
- Here, you will find the relevant question presenting the various Standards available to the supplier, with the current Standard already selected
- Select the new Standard you wish to change the supplier to
- Upon selecting the Standard, the Supplier Profile will reconfigure itself to match the required fields of that Standard. This may take a few minutes
- The new Standard has now been set
