The Supplier Profile allows both supplier users and users internal to the customer to keep a record of the key contacts at the supplier.
There are various different types of supplier contact that can be entered on the Supplier Profile.
None of the contacts added become users of Canopy, unless the person also happens to be listed as a Supplier Admin Account or as the Notification Email.
There are various types of supplier contact collected through Canopy. Those that are included by default are as follows:
- Primary Contact - this is the main point of contact for the customer at the supplier and the most important contact field to complete
- Finance Contact - this is the person at the supplier who all financial and payment enquiries should go to. Some customers may ask that a dedicated Finance Contact is assigned for each operating entity the supplier trades with.
- Health & Safety Manager - this is the person who manages Health & Safety matters at the supplier
- Additional Contacts - allows you to add additional contacts as you see fit
