How does a supplier complete their data?
When a supplier logs into the Canopy system for the first time, they will be presented with a Data Framework containing a series of questions in each tab specific to them required to trade with the Company.
Alongside each tab, the supplier will be presented with a numbering icon to display how many questions are mandatory to be filled in, for the profile to be submitted:
The supplier will need to navigate to each tab on the profile and fill out the mandatory questions in each tab.
Once the required information is filled out in each tab, a green tick will appear next to the title of the tab to identify the profile is ready to be submitted:
To submit the profile as a supplier, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the 'Submit Registration' tab at the bottom of the Data Framework.
- Select 'Yes' to the Confirmation Statement.
- Select the 'Submit Registration' button.
- Select 'Yes' to the confirmation message.
You will then be presented with a message to state the data is now under review by the company. Whilst the profile is in this status, the Supplier will be unable to access the profile.
How is a supplier notified when amendments need to be made to the profile?
Often, when an internal user to the customer reviews a supplier's profile, the data provided may not be correct, or further information may be required.
In this instance, the internal user will return the profile to the Supplier with the reasoning.
The supplier will be notified via email (Number 008 on the Manage Emails page) stating additional information is required, including the reason. A link will be provided in the email for the supplier to log in, amend the data, and re-submit.
How can a supplier re-submit their profile?
Once the requested data has been entered, to re-submit the registration, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the 'Submit Registration' tab at the bottom of the Data Framework.
- Select 'Yes' to the Confirmation Statement.
- Click the 'Re Submit Registration' button.
- Select 'Yes' to the confirmation message.
Once done, the profile will be sent back to the Company for review.
