Every instance of Canopy is different. The Question Set Export report provides a complete download of all the fields of data and their configuration for your instance of Canopy.
Note, the Question Set Export is only available Admin users. If you require access but do not have the necessary permissions, please contact your Administrator.

How to download the Question Set Export report
To download the Question Set Export report, please follows these steps:
- Click on Reports from the top menu bar
- Navigate to the Question Set Export report in the dropdown menu
- Click the Export Question Set button in the top right. The latest configuration of the question set will now download into a report. Please wait a few minutes for this to complete.
- On the left hand side, you will see the phrase 'Click the link below to download the latest export', below which will be a link showing the date and time the latest report was exported. When this updates to the current date and time, your report is ready. Click on this link to download the report.
- The report should now be accessible from your 'Downloads' folder, or equivalent.
Using the Question Set Export report as a Data Dictionary
The Question Set Export report provides a mapping between the Policy Title and Question Wording for every data point on the Supplier Profile. The Policy Title is used to identify each data point in reporting and the API.
Using the Question Set Export as a specification of your configuration
The Question Set Export will provide you with a complete download of each of the following attributes about your configuration of Canopy:
- Every data point in the system, the type of data point it is, and the answer options (in the event of a multi-select data point)
- The location of each data point
- All the rules attached to each data point, including:
- Relevancy, i.e. when the data point is shown to the supplier
- Format, i.e. when the answer provided is accepted by the system without returning an error
- Obscurity, i.e. when a data should be hidden from a particular user role
- Approval, i.e when the data point requires approval and by which Approver Role
- Your category tree
- Your risk model
