A Supplier may have more than one Business Owner.
By default, the person who Requests the supplier (known as the Requestor) is always added as a Business Owner on that Supplier Profile. All additional Business Owners need to be added separately.
Canopy's default settings only allow Admin users to add Business Owners to a Supplier Profile.
To add or remove Business Owners:
- Select a supplier
- On the Supplier Profile, select the Supplier Data dashboard
- Select the Internal Data tab on the left hand side
- Navigate to the Business Owners section
- To add a new Business Owner, click Create. This will open up a new pane titled Assign New Business Owner. Enter the email address of the Business Owner in the field Email Address and click Save changes.
- The Primary Business Owner is indicated by the person icon . To change which Business Owner should be Primary, click Assign as Primary on the relevant Business Owner
- To remove a Business Owner, click Remove next to the relevant Business Owner in the list
