There are two ways to add suppliers to Canopy:
- Suppliers may be 'Requested' and 'Invited' to complete their profile on Canopy. Typically the supplier will take control of their own profile, which improves data accuracy and offloads the burden of data entry to a motivated participant. Adding suppliers in this way will mean they pass through your approval workflow and gain the full exposure to the business as they are brought into your supply chain.
- Supplier records may also be created internally as 'Record Created' profiles, which internal users may deposit information into. These records are not subjected to an approval workflow, but as a result, their functionality is limited.
