Admin user permissions:
Supplier record management
The Admin user has overarching permission to manage any supplier record on Canopy. They may perform any approval, have wide-reaching edit rights, and have permission to suspend, reject and delete suppliers.
Requesting new suppliers
The Admin user is allowed to submit and approve any new supplier request. They will not receive notifications when an approval is required. Notifications are reserved for the Request Approver role who is assigned to this task in the workflow.
Supplier profiles
The Admin user has full access to the Supplier List, allowing them to search for and find any supplier on the system. This includes Record Created suppliers and those suppliers that have been deleted.
The Admin user has wide-reaching edit rights of the information contained in the Supplier Profile, regardless of whether they have been assigned as a Business Owner.
Banking information
Canopy is highly protective of sensitive information like bank details.
For supplier-managed profiles, the Admin user may view banking information, but does is not allowed to edit this information. Where banking information is entered by the supplier, only the supplier may edit it.
For internally-managed profiles, the Admin user has full view and edit rights to banking information. However, the Admin user may not approve their own edits. Canopy adopts a segregation of duties policy, which is further explained in this article.
The Admin user may also perform Bank Verification.
Approvals
The Admin user may perform any approval on behalf of the Approver Users.

Reporting
The Admin user has permission to view, create, edit or delete reports on Canopy. As the creator/editor of reports, the Admin user may also stipulate which other User Roles may view each report.
Contract Management
The Admin users may view, create, edit or delete any contract on a Supplier Profile.
User Management
Both the Admin role and User Admin rule may create, edit and suspend users on Canopy.
